Nicci Peck new CEO of SOFA Project

Nicci Peck has been appointed CEO of SOFA Project on the retirement of Paul Townsend.

SOFA is one of Bristol’s leading charities with over 30 years experience in helping to make the city a better place in which to live and work. We recycle high quality domestic and office furniture and white goods and sell them through our retail shops in West Street, Knowle Shopping Centre and our warehouse in Silverthorne Lane. We are so confident in the work carried out in our extensive workshop in Days Lane that all kitchen appliances are sold under guarantee with full service support.

Nicci has a wealth of management experience in both the commercial and the charity sector in Bristol and Bath. She is very much a people person and the knowledge she has gained in her previous employment will enable us to further develop the work we do in helping people back into gainful employment after a break through illness or other misfortune.

SOFA has become an important part of the Bristol scene and under Nicci’s leadership we look forward to playing our part in realising the opportunities presented with the city becoming European Capital of Culture in 2015.
